Scent Work

These filter jars are designed to hold and dispense filters for scent work.

Filters are mixed in a sterile jar with odour-impregnated material. The odour is transferred onto the filter providing a transient media to use in scent work.

Cigarette filters make an economical choice for your odour swabs and when stored in airtight sterile jars provide a ready source.

These small filters can be used in a range of scent hides due to their small size and are a perfect fit inside our 10mm scent hides.

Swab holders that can be used to hold swabs or filters and fit perfectly into our stainless steel stands.

These were originally designed to detect odours captured on swabs during the transit of goods in HGVs.

Successful trials were conducted by the DFT, but were never taken forward commercially. There are many applications for this system and adaptations could be made to suite.
